Do you want to participate in a casual, low-stress, conversation-based language learning community? Join our Language Café! The Language Café provides a space to chat, drink tea, knit, etc. while enjoying the company of other Norwegian language learners. This program is geared toward students with some prior Norwegian ability who are looking to improve their conversational skills. The Language Café is an unstructured conversation hour guided by weekly topics and prompts selected by the instructors. There is no formal lecture or homework, and purchase of textbooks/materials is not required. Simply come and speak Norwegian! Our Language Café is not recommended for beginners, and is better suited for intermediate or advanced learners. There is no need to be a perfect speaker, you should just be prepared to practice and learn alongside others! ------ 3 Sessions Available Session 1: 7pm-8pm (CT), Mondays, January 12 - February 16 (Six 1-hour classes) Session 2: 7pm-8pm (CT), Mondays, March 2 - April 6 (Six 1-hour classes) Session 3: 7pm-8pm (CT), Mondays, April 20 - June 1 (Six 1-hour classes)* *Please note that Memorial Day will be off during Session 3.
